MahaRERA imposes Rs 10,000 per day fine in case of project delays

The Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has taken an uncompromising stand to facilitate the timely handover of flats to homebuyers. Developers will now have to pay a hefty penalty of Rs 10,000 per day, which will be further doubled in case of any delay.
